New attacks and animations

Hey!

This week we were busy discussing the new attacks for our characters, and made a list of the potential attacks each character can have in order to be balanced with the rest of the roster.

·        Computer:
o   Up - Uppercut, see a Shoryuken from the Street Fighter series
o   Down - Summons lightning from the earth, creating a dome around him, if midair, creates a ball of lightning while going down.
o   Moving - Dashes forward, if midair falls to the ground, can only attack again when he hits the ground. See Fox Up special from Smash
o   Neutral - Throws remote which boomerangs back to the character, can't activate again until it comes back.
·        Civil:
o   Up - Charges upwards to grab an opponent and fills him with concrete, damaging him then letting go. See Ganondorf Up Special from Smash.
o   Down - Turns into a rock, damaging the opponents he's near, if midair he falls really quickly. See Kirby Down special from Smash.
o   Moving - Throws a brick in the direction of movement
o   Neutral - Charges a punch that propels him forward, depending on how much time it's charged. See Falcon Punch from Smash.
·        Artist:
o   Up - Charges upwards and uses canvas to glide across the air, see Peach Up special from Smash
o   Down - Spins around and throws splashes of paint around that do some damage to the characters.
o   Moving - Does a three-move combo with the brush, if enemy is caught in all three strokes he's stunned for awhile
o   Neutral - Paints a flying monster that goes in a straight line in the direction the character is facing. Can be used as a platform but damages enemies. See Villager Side special from Smash.
·        Chemist:
o   Up - Vanishes from point and reappears up in the air, see Sheik Up special from Smash
o   Down - Throws chemicals to the ground causing an explosion, if in the ground is propelled upwards
o   Moving - Joins two chemicals together while moving creating a trail that damages characters caught in it.
o   Neutral - Throws a paralyzing cask that damages a little but paralyzes the character it hits. See Zero Suit Samus Neutral Special from Smash

The ones in red are the ones we will implement in the game, as they're easier to animate.

See you next week!
